About me...
Ben Haran
My name is Ben Haran and I’m the founder and creator of ConnecTennis.
My idea for ConnecTennis was built on a passion to continue supporting players I had coached that went to US college. Having spent time speaking to college coaches and players, I found there was a real opportunity and gap to give players some structure and support when they left their colleges for summer break.
At ConnecTennis, I believe we can help fill this gap and offer players exciting opportunities during these summer periods when they want to continue to train and compete ready to return to college tennis having improved.

Jack Carpenter
Based: London
Jack brings excellent knowledge having worked through many different levels from junior to pro tennis. His passion & enthusiasm for the game means anyone he works with will not only enjoy the experience but will maximise their potential.
Top 50 ITF Junior competing in Junior slams
Top 650 ATP
Coached a number of top British male & female players at Grand Slams including Heather Watson, Dan Evans & Billy Harris.
Worked with multiple players finishing US college from unranked to top 250.
Ruaridh Macleod
Based: London
Ruaridh brings experience and ambition to the team having worked across all areas of High-Performance tennis.
Level 4 LTA Performance coach.
2022-2025: Head Coach of LTA Regional Development centre. Responsible for the development of top British players from 10-14. Experience running a team of coaches.
2021-2022: Assistant Captain for GB U14 European Summer cup team.
Worked with Charlie Robertson who made a high of #10 ITF junior rankings & Semi-finalist at the 2024 US open juniors.
Current coach to Katy Dunne (WTA high 2012).
Dominic Mahoubi
Based: Florida
Dominic brings a huge amount of passion, and experience to the team, from ITF juniors to WTA/ ATP tour and Grand Slams, as well as working at a number of elite international academies.
2001-2002 Coached Lamine Ouahab helping him reach top 10 in the world and finalist at Junior Wimbledon beating Rafa Nadal.
Coached Joao Sousa at BTT Barcelona helping him reach Top 300 ATP. Career ATP high #28.
Soto tennis coached Valaria Savinykh Top 100 WTA.
Director of tennis at World famous Crandon Park from 2017-2021.
David Cox
Based: London
David is a highly committed and dedicated coach that’s very passionate about developing players.
Level 4 LTA Performance coach.
Produced a number of British National champions, as well as working with a number of players who have played Junior Grand slams.
Helped support Jack Draper & Jodie Burrage during his time as Surrey County coach.
2023 spent time on the road at ATP & Grand slam events supporting and working closely with Mikel Ymer whilst he was Top 50 ATP.
Caleb Simms
Based: London
Caleb brings a high level of passion & dedication to the Connectennis team. Having spent a lot of time around top players his awareness of standards is excellent. Caleb is very passionate about helping players maximise their potential through an individualised approach.
Has worked with elite players from ITF junior to WTA & ATP.
Lead coach to Varvara Gracheva during her 2025 quarter final run at the WTA 1000 Cincinnati.
Official hitting partner at Queens club ATP/WTA 500 & Wimbledon. Most notably with Jannick Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz & Jack Draper.
Adam Lownsborough
Based: London
Adam has a wealth of experience across all levels of the game from ITF juniors to WTA/ATP.
LTA Level 5 Performance coach.
Worked at BTT Spain 2008-2012.
Worked at LTA National Academy Stirling 2021-2024.
Coached Anastasia Pavluychenkova WTA high #11.
Coached Ipek Soylu WTA high #150.
Coached Eri Hozumi WTA high #28 to Final of Roland Garros doubles 2018.
Kieron Vorster
Based: Wimbledon
A perfectionist at heart and with an ethos built around teamwork & work ethic. It's a privilege to have Kieron as part of the ConnecTennis team bringing over 30 years' experience working with some of the very best players in the world. Kieron also spent time working as a consultant at Baylor University so brings a deep understand of college tennis.

HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING CAMP
Date: 14th-18th December
Venue: Reed's School
Connectennis will be putting on intense training camp at Reed's school.
The main aim of the camp is to bring a group of like-minded players together and combine high quality on court work with off court physical preparation.
General layout of the week
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 10.30-12.30 & 14.00-15.30 (Tennis). 15.30-16.30 Gym (S&C).
Thursday: 10.30-12.00 on court (physical / Tennis combined).
13.30-15.00 (Tennis).
Friday: 10.30-13.00 (Tennis).
13.00-14.00 (Recovery).
Morning sessions will consist of drilling & patters of play. Afternoons will be matchplay.
